About Dr. Carosello
Renowned for his kind demeanor and exceptional skill, Dr. Stephen Carosello has been serving the greater Cleveland area from his general dentistry practice for over 30 years. An active member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Carosello has been chosen by the Consumers' Research Council of America as one of "America's Top Dentists." Over the years, thousands of patients in the Cleveland area have turned to this dentist knowing that, whatever treatment they require, they can expect results and friendly treatment.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Carosello earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the prestigious Case Western University Dental School in Cleveland, where he also underwent his advanced training. In addition, he was awarded the Terrence O’Hern Excellence in Biology Award from John Carroll University where he completed a four year Bachelor of Science Degree. Dr. Carosello has bolstered his reputation as a trusted, highly skilled general dentist by completing several continuing education courses, becoming intimately acquainted with the latest and most advanced techniques in dentistry. Along with serving patients from his office in Mentor, Dr. Carosello is a respected member of the American Dental Association, Northeast Ohio Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Carosello’s commitment to his patients is matched only by his commitment to his family and to his community. He has given generously of his time for a variety of causes, including providing dental care at retirement facilities and for underprivileged children enrolled in the Head Start pre-school program. In the past, this Cleveland area cosmetic and general dentist has also served at the senior center for the City of Mentor, Euclid and Geauga County. In addition, Dr. Carosello has provided his services to Alzheimer’s units, homebound patients and disabled patients.

Dr. Carosello, whom the local media has consistently relied upon as an expert source of information on dental issues, contributes a weekly column about dentistry to the News Herald, a newspaper read daily by thousands of Cleveland area residents. He has also been featured in the media for his acts of professional and personal generosity, as he volunteers for several community non-profit organizations and helps to support our service members serving abroad by sending care packages.
In December 2004, Dr. Carosello, who has two adult children in the military, collected over a thousand pounds of gifts for injured soldiers serving in Iraq. Just before Christmas, fifteen suitcases overflowing with items were hand-carried to the American Military Hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, to ensure that these extraordinary men and women would have a more joyful holiday season.
Dr. Carosello's devotion to the safety of children led him to support and promote the Toothprints® program, in which he takes molds of children's bite impressions to create a record of their unique tooth characteristics. The program, which would help to identify children in the event they were lost or kidnapped, is provided to parents at little or no charge. Ultimately, Dr. Carosello's goal is for every child in Ohio to participate in the Toothprints® program.
